I Do

My Gown.

My bouquet.

The last couple of weeks was hectic.  The eve of the event, my friend M who was arranging the flowers sent me a SMS:
Need to shock therapy the Siberian Lilies!  They are not opening fast enough!

Shock therapy?  I had an image of the flowers being soaked in water and somehow receiving electric voltage.  After all, shock therapy in humans means ECT (electro-convulsive therapy).

I had to find my Zen in order not to be fazed.  So what if none of the siberian lillies are open?  There's something romantic about flower buds, isn't it?

Nest Frost

As we hiked and scouted a property for sale north of the city, we found this.  Not sure what type of birds used it, and whether the birds recycle the nest.  You can see ice remnants -- it is mid-April and we have not completely thawed out yet.

The weather is a completely different story, but I can't help but remember that we were out in almost summer outfits mid-March last year eating ice cream.  And I can't remember the last time I still have my sweaters out mid-April.  Or maybe I was just so looking forward for this year's spring.

Maybe we'll see eggs the next time.
