Departure

When we learned that there was potential transportation strike the night before our departure, we both conceded that it isn't a bad place to be stranded.  But the strike was brief, and the next morning we were on the the number 5 train headed to the Charles de Gaulle International Airport.  We even caught the direct RER B train, and we were at our gate a little over an hour before boarding time.

A week in Paris is over.  And all I could think about while I stared at this was when can we get back.

My Summer Porch

Just like last year, we had morning glories up my porch, and this time it was a more elaborate contraption that B designed.  We never figured out why none of the blue flowers bloomed.  So next year we will have a blue-only operation in mind.

And we had pompoms this year too!  Ah, that's what I call these marigolds....

I didn't mind that B doesn't buy me flowers.  Because he plants and grows them for me.

Grazing CowCat

That wheat grass was grown especially for the cowcat.  When she stays with me, she doesn't have a big yard and plenty of grass supply that I had to get some so she gets her veggie baon.  It's part of her routine: she tries to wake me up in the morning (not to mention tries to get some attention around 3am), then walks down with me and mouws for food.  After she eats, she would either jump up the counter to drink (yeah, Keiva likes drinking her water with a view) and then would asked to be let out.  She would munch on the wheat grass, cleans herself, watch the cars come in the garage across the building and then come back in and sleep.  For 10 hours.

Life of a kitty in the city.  I miss the cowcat!
