Pinoy Experiment II: Caldereta

And there's even a Griswold dutch oven for my experiment!  Well, I still call a dish an experiment when I have to look to the recipe to at least remind myself of what I need, although this wasn't the first time I made this caldereta.  The first time was around November, when B had expressed craving of what turns out to be his favorite pinoy dish at a pinoy mafia children's party that we had gone to last summer.

And this one I used ribs!  And it turned out great!  Or just ask B.  And as usual, I add a little something that's not in the original recipe!  A smidgen of red pepper flakes can brighten any dish!  Pinoy or otherwise!

I'm not really fond of caldereta (I'm picky with the style of cooking) but I guess I'm going to like this particular version. Ribs!

It's a dish that I would probably not crave -- but I'm sure you'll love my version! :)
