Christmas Cheer

I really wasn't planning on decorating my place for Christmas this year (Bah! humbug!). Mainly because I already knew I wasn't going to be home for Christmas anyway (or, actually, the better way I look at it somehow is that I am going to be home* for Christmas, ha ha). But after realizing that almost everyone I know already have their house full of Christmas decorations (including my best friend who has a small pre-lit tree!), I got insanely jealous (and perhaps my competitive spirit got ignited somehow).

So exactly 7 days ago, I shopped for a small pine plant, a couple of poinsettia pots and dug through my box of Christmas decorations. This made me nostalgic of my 3rd Christmas in the States - the one time that I actually had a real tree.

Oh well, maybe I'll have a real tree next year.
